R&R
R&R is a classical Reversi game for PCs. It's the first game I wrote and for this reason it was very long. I decided to rewrite this game from scratch and add a number of extra features.
The first version is available from my website
Included are a number of versions of the game which can be viewed
in the image below. The top two are versions for the C64 and Atari ST
versions. The bottom two are versions for the BBC's Acorn and PC platforms.
R&R is named after Reversi by the German company Hilscher.
The Reversi community is now divided between these two separate
communities with each using their own programming language, machine
types and problems. This led to a degree of political infighting
between the two groups with some members refusing to play the others
version of Reversi and vice versa.
R&R uses a very simple 4x4 board with all moves and game play being performed
by numbers in a row.
The game starts with the computer choosing a random number
at 0,0. To make the game more interesting I made the computer
select one of its opponents moves first, always its top leftmost
opponent.
After each player has made their move the result of
the game is checked for them. If the game goes on it
simply checks the moves for alternating moves. If the
moves have been completed it calculates a'score' for the
computer, the player and their opponents. The scores are then
added to produce a final score.
Each version of the game has it's own rules. They may
be slightly different but otherwise identical.
Included are several short game demonstrations
which may. To use the KEYMACRO feature in Firefox, follow these instructions.
PLEASE NOTE: This tutorial is a work in progress. If you find this tutorial useful, then please contribute any information you might have to help improve the tutorial.
KEYMACRO is an advanced window-management plugin for Mozilla Firefox. It can be used to quickly move windows between monitors. It is similar to using the ALT-TAB function of the Window manager. Unlike ALT-TAB which allows only a single window at a time, KEYMACRO can move a window from one monitor to another.

After that, you can use it for multiple files, just by pressing Generate button.

Helpful voting on StackOverflow.com
Have you ever found yourself in the situation where you got a down vote and, as a result, the post is not useful anymore?
The main reason I'm asking is that I got more or less useless votes yesterday on a post on Stack Overflow.
This post was an attempt to get a different way of doing something, so a simple down vote (that I don't understand) is not a solution, but a punishment.
What can be done?
A:
Use your rep to send them up. If you find a problem with the down vote, you can discuss it on chat, or through the contact form.
A:
Typically, if I feel like a down vote is warranted, I'll edit it. I can see two possibilities for a down vote, one which makes more sense to me and one which doesn't.
The post is unclear. If the purpose of the post was really unclear, this downvote would be reasonable. There's a good chance someone could tell me what the purpose of the post is after reading it.
The post is incorrect. This is generally why a downvote comes about. I would never downvote a post which I thought was correct and informative.
I think it depends on the situation, but I generally don't downvote someone just because they get a down vote. I'll comment instead, or try to help them make their post better (or at least not worse), but I don't think that someone getting a down vote means that they're getting a punishment.
A:
I can't believe that you've been downvoted more than once.
Not only is it a useful question, it may get you the reputation you deserve as a serious questioner.
Asking your question here is what is known as the "bake off", and it seems that there is no way you can win it. So, learn from it.
Re-write it to make it a better question. Use the good information given here, and
